Position: Forestry and Fuels Project Coordinator

Ms. Rivera completed her undergrad degree at CSU Monterey Bay in 2021 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. She completed two internships, one in environmental outreach and education and one in data collection. She has worked seasonally in Shasta-Trinity National Forest for the Watershed Research and Training Center as a wildlife technician. In between her wildlife and Grizzly Corps experiences, she started a master’s program in international environmental policy that she hopes to revisit someday but for now, is excited to be working full time at SVRCD! She is passionate about building community resilience and creating a sustainable environment.
